The Pioneer League's regular season has concluded, setting the stage for the playoffs to commence on Thursday, September 11.
The Missoula PaddleHeads (64-32) will host the Idaho Falls Chukars (54-41) in a best-of-three series at Ogren Park at Allegiance Field.
Meanwhile, the Oakland Ballers (73-23) will face the Ogden Raptors (52-43) at Raimondi Park in Oakland.
The winners of these series will advance to the Pioneer League Championship Series, a best-of-five showdown beginning Tuesday, September 16.
During the regular season, Missoula and Idaho Falls split their six-game series in August, highlighting the competitive nature of their upcoming playoff clash.
Missoula concluded their regular season by splitting a six-game road series at the Yuba-Sutter High Wheelers, securing a narrow 8-7 victory in their finale on Sunday.
This marks Missoula's fifth consecutive postseason appearance; however, they are aiming for their first league championship since 2021.
Oakland, in their inaugural season, has made a significant impact by clinching the top spot in the league with a 73-23 record.
Under the leadership of manager Aaron Miles, the Ballers have demonstrated exceptional performance throughout the season.
Fans are eagerly anticipating these matchups, as the teams vie for a spot in the championship series.
Tickets for the games are available through the respective teams' official channels.
