Below are 4 unique holiday experiences where you can create meaningful memories.

UTV Holiday Light Parade

The second annual Holiday UTV Light Parade features decorated UTVs cruising along the Riverwalk in a winter wonderland.

The entry fee for each UTV is 10 cans of food that will be donated to the Community Food Basket of Idaho Falls.

The route will take participants around the Riverwalk and back to the Mountain America Center and will take place on Dec. 20.

For more details, head to the official city website.

The Christmas River

The Christmas River takes families and friends on a memorable walk through the festive village square, homes, and trails.

Along the winter stroll lit up by rustic lanterns and holiday lights, you can meet Santa, Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Christoff, Jack, and the Grinch.

For hours and pricing, visit the event's official website.

Mountain River Ranch

Mountain River Ranch has been an iconic holiday destination for its annual Christmas dinner show and festive scenery for more than 30 years.

The annual Christmas dinner gives visitors a chance to experience the village decorated in Christmas lights, a delicious dinner, and a night of music led by the Mountain River String Band.

Check the ranch's website for dates, times, and booking options.

Historic Downtown

Throughout the year, Historic Downtown is a hub for community events, and during the holidays, it hosts its annual tree-lighting ceremony and other holiday festivities.

The annual tree-lighting ceremony is held in November, but free trolley rides around downtown are available on Saturdays from 2-4 p.m. through December.
